Information: FURTHER INFORMATION:

Welcome again! I started this platform for International Education in mid 2011, and hopefully this website can contribute to the spread of related topics, events and themes within International Higher Education and foster international networking. For any questions on this website, please do not hesitate contacting me.

I studied Geography in Germany, at the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, from 1994 until 2000. In 1997 I studied one semester at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, Mexico, and in 1999/2000 for another semester at the University Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France.

After the undergraduate studies I started with a PhD on (re-)presentation of regional identities and finished my Master of Advanced Studies (Diploma de Estudios Avanzados, DEA) at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela in Spain.

From 2001 until August 2007 I was working at the International School of Management (ISM) in Dortmund, Germany, within the Department of Tourism Studies and the International Office. My last position before leaving the institution was Manager European Development within the Department of International Relations.

Since September 2007 I am working at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, Mexico, within the Department of International Relations. Since October 2010 I am working as Assistant Director of Student Mobility at this institution.

You can either reach me via the message board below, or as well at martin.scheer@jadiliano.org . If you are member of the network and the community, you will find more information within my profile.
